Hitler Youth Re-Visited
Emergency Services Minister Tony Kelly yesterday welcomed the NSW Rural Fire Service's newest cadet members, from Lithgow High School, to the innovative fire safety program. Mr Kelly met the Lithgow students and members of the Kelso High School RFS Cadets while in Lithgow to hand over three new bushfire tankers to the Glen Alice, Clarence and Rydal bushfire brigades.
In the ceremony at the Lithgow Rural Fire Service headquarters in Silcock Street Mr Kelly also handed over cheques for special projects by the brigades.
The Kelso cadets staged a display of their firefighting skills for an audience that included the Minister, State Member Gerard Martin, RFS Commissioner Phil Koperberg and representatives of district brigades and Lithgow Council.
"I want to thank the volunteers for their hard work to protect their communities and also to commend the Lithgow and Kelso cadets who I hope will go on to become the RFS leaders of the future," Mr Kelly said.
Lithgow High is one of 12 new schools joining the program this year
Does any of this ring a bell - brown shirts and swastika started the same
way in 1937.
This empire building by Bob Debus and Phil Koperberg of the RFS uniforms and medal saluting each other all paid for by the people of NSW and it had go to
stop $300 million a year and the fire fighters get "Bugger All"
Hey again - it's your vote
