RUTH DOWNEY MOVES RSPCA TO SUPREME COURT
On Tuesday 13th April 2010, the second district court hearing for 74 year old Ruth Downey’s (pictured at front with protestors) appeal against the RSPCA-NSW mafia styled stand over invasion of her farm with the outrageous cost awarded was heard unbeknown to Mrs Downey. She was under the impression the case was continuing on Thursday 15th April 2010, at the Downing Centre Sydney.
Mrs Downey received a phone call from Jan Richardson, also a senior single 65 year old lady running a farm by herself (most favoured targets of the RSPCA), subjected to the RSPCA-NSW enforcers prior to Mrs Downey, informed Ruth of hearing on ABC radio – “Ruth Downey had lost her appeal against the RSPCA.
Mrs Downey was astounded at this news. She later listened to her radio confirming what Jan had said.
Sad news for you Mr Coleman, CEO of RSPCA-NSW. Your organisation issuing a victory against Ruth Downey is short lived. Even after your legal teams antics of changing district courts and court dates for whatever agenda you have. On June 3rd 2010, in the Supreme Court of NSW at 10am, appearing before three (3) Judges, not one Mr Coleman, your RSPCA will be asked to explain.
RSPCA-NSW media manager, “Michelle Minehan”, must have worked at breakneck speed to present a story of an RSPCA win against Mrs Downey on Coleman’s orders.
As the day progressed, radio discovered it was not as clear cut as RSPCA-NSW Coleman spin would have us believe. TV networks have contacted Ruth indicating concern over the court outcome asking to contact her legal team, this she sanctioned with her blessing.
Mr Coleman, from comforts in your Homebush RSPCA-NSW well appointed bunker, you saw fit to sanction execution orders for Mrs Downey’s cows, leaving just a few day old orphaned calves without mothers and milk to survive. At anytime did you consider, rather than the bullets you delivered, a truck or two of cattle feed & some veterinarian assistance would be more in line with Animal Welfare to a drought affected farmer. You compounded the atrocity by paying your President Andrew Charles Wozniak’s legal firm the sum of $295,588.99 to prosecuted Mrs Downey, from which two other RSPCA-NSW director, Barrister Paul O’Donnell, who received $74,000.00, and Veterinarian Dr Peter Wright who received $5,400.00 from RSPCA-NSW public donated dollars people thought destine to animal welfare?
