Dingo Candle Mass

Dingoes Have Way Lit by Candles

3000 Candles burning inside a paper bag in the shape of a Fraser Island dingo and your child’s name for a mere $2.00 per candle could be on one of those bags.

An opportunity to not just be involved from a distance in another fantastic piece of International grand scale Candle Art by renown artist Jorge Pujol, but to give a memory to your child for life. Instilling them with the pride of doing something personal for the Fraser Island Dingo; by supporting the Fraser Island Dingo Whisperer Jennifer Parkhurst and helping her to meet her un-Australian legal penalisation for being our very own Australian Jane Goodall.

Each candle will be placed into its own bag with sand as a weight by local Fraser area children and at the going down of the sun, those candles will be lit in an effort to create a glowing flame Dingo some 50 metres long. A ring of burning candles that although lit at the going down of the sun, will in fact be the rising of their canine phoenix from the ashes.

This beautiful creature that lives on World Heritage Listed Fraser Island, now needs you the Australian people to get involved and this is a sure fired way to do so. Not only are you assisting our very own environmental warrior we should all be proud of, Jennifer is no radical, but you are also most importantly, telling the Bligh government, to stop playing politics with a true native fauna species and by their poor management, have all but brought this Icon of Australian Dingo purity, to extinction.

Please take this one opportunity to participate in environmental art. Go to the SFID website [click here] scroll down to the paypal link to make a donation and secure your historic candle spot in the art works, which also includes flaming candle wording, or make a direct deposit into SFID Inc’s account by way of the Internet Banking details for SFID Inc, next to the pay Pal icon.

This is a true environmental protest and message sending. It neither paints the opera house red, shuts down train lines of coal, nor rams boats on the high seas and in this, every parent has an opportunity if they are quick enough to donate for a candle, or ten, a lasting education to their children of how a difference can be made with neither tears, violence, nor destruction.

$2.00 for a candle, a single gold coin for a threatened Golden Dingo species’ warrior.
