Dingoes Continue to Chew Anna Bligh’s Ca-reer

Premier Anna Bligh Extolls Fraser Chronicle’s Proud History whilst Trying to Restore a Modicum of Political Credibility

While Premier Anna Bligh flagrantly obeys her minders and projects herself towards every corner of Hervey Bay and its surrounds she can ingratiate herself into in a flagging effort to gain ground where she has lost mountains; Queensland Parliament hansard dated 23rd Nov 2010, reports this;

All the while, Australia’s own Jane Goodall of Fraser Island, Ms Jennifer Louise Parkhurst, is by support gravitation, amassing not just scientists, environmental friends in the public and media alike, but people who are disgustingly aghast at the draconian treatment of this selfless lady.

The next big event being a family fun gala day on December the 5th in Hervey Bay culminating with world acclaimed Jorje Pujol throwing his International weight into a massive evening-time 3000 candle lit Dingo in the park?

Whilst the Queensland Premier’s Magistrates only award $13,000 dollar fines to a couple who have some 45 counts of protected animal smuggling in transgression of DERM policy regulations, or even horrendously worse;

The Magistrate at the local Gympie Court; the same Court where Ms Parkhurst was given 80 hours Community service for allegedly having in her alleged possession signs that were not even taken by her, [another story yet to come] did this:

A MAN, 27, who assaulted two older women was sentenced to a suspended term of imprisonment and placed on probation for 12 months. Gympie Magistrates Court heard Cam Robert Huskisson committed the offence at Cooktown in July 2009.

He was to appear in Gympie Magistrates Court in December but failed to appear because of a clerical mix up.

He was located in September when police attended a Lawrence Street unit for another matter.

According to his bail conditions, Huskisson was to abstain from alcohol but when police found him he was heavily intoxicated.

He was arrested and charged with breaching bail as well as the original offences of common assault of a 49-year-old woman and serious assault of a person over 60 years (a 71-year-old grandmother).

He was sentenced to two months jail suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay $700 compensation to his victims.

Don’t ever try and convince the world Mrs Queensland Premier Anna Bligh that Ms Jennifer Parkhurst’s 3 year suspended, 4X9 month concurrent sentences and a $40,000 fine for making an error of judgment under partner applied emotional duress, yet still with zero intent other than to save threatened species lives, cannot be seen by a concerned public as being anything other, than an unprecedented miscarriage of judicial heavy handedness.

For even with the separation of powers ACT in play, this sentence upon this great Lady who had earned public admiration for hundreds upon hundreds of hours of voluntary island beach cleaning community service and deserved scientific acclaim and applause, not the personal judicial denigration and vilification as Magistrate Smith saw fit, applies no pattern, no pattern at all of true and equitable justice as determined by our Australian sense of fair play. Our early colonisation was built on such dastardly judicial decision making made in faraway lands.

The following truly depicts Ms Parkhurst, the Dingo Whispering environmentalist who holds nothing but love and compassion for the Island and those special Dingoes this Nation reveres. In this text I have essentially changed place, species and person’s name whilst keeping the original meaning of the borrowed text. The original follows thereafter along with identifying its source.

“The great thing about Fraser Island is not that Jennifer Louise Parkhurst redefined biological science, but that she set a new standard, a very high standard, for behavioral study of genetically pure dingoes in the wild, focusing on individual characteristics as well as collective patterns.

She created a research program, a set of protocols and ethics, an intellectual momentum – she created, in fact, a relationship between the scientific world and essentially one community of genetically pure Dingoes – that will, despite government and their department’s intransigence, grow far beyond what this one woman could ever have hoped to achieve.

My piece above was reconstructed out of the following text which is straight from page 116 of the National Geographic October 2010 expose’ on Jane Goodall’s life achievements, and may we commend the public to seek a copy and see if they can locate just where the difference lies between that great lady and our pure hearted Dingo Whisperer of Fraser Island, Jennifer Parkhurst.

“The great thing about Gombe is not that Jane Goodall “redefined” humankind but that she set a new standard, a very high standard, for behavioral study of apes in the wild, focusing on individual characteristics as well as collective patterns. She created a research program, a set of protocols and ethics, an intellectual momentum – she created, in fact, a relationship between the scientific world and one community of chimpanzees – that has grown far beyond what one woman could do.”

So Premier Anna Bligh and Minister Kate Jones, DERM, QPWS, you may give cause to take her [Jennifer's] freedom and steal her money, whilst filching her research, but the world will feed from the very essence of her soul; for God differentiates not, between man or beast, but looks fondly upon those that live by his Creed.

Be proud Jennifer, for it is certainly not you who should hang a head in shame.
