There is less than two weeks before the NSW election as we await the predictable bullshit from the party room puppets laughingly referred to as politicians.

The sad part is that current and previous records of Labor or Liberal being voted in government over decades indicates both cease representing their constituents as from polling day when the party room, radical green agreements for their preferences, and payback for the corporate funding takes control.

So we ask, "why would this well worn path to the party room closed door by politicians, elected into office, again and again ignore the voice of the people when media, your wallet, your mortgages, your child's education, and your hospitals be supported by anyone, still is supported by voters?"

The Snowy Hydro sale was a prime example of party room arrogance-vs-the people. The arrogance was 500 to1 odds until the people stood up and said "HANDS OFF" or your out of office MATE!.

The polling booth is also "HANDS OFF MATE"

Make the pollies work - DO NOT RE-ELECT THEM

Here is a test for the party polly - ask this question, "would you cross the floor or go against the party room decision if your constituents were against policies introduced"? … you know the answer to that one …

How can the word democratic be used if an elected politician, who is required to represent his constituents, be subjected to abuse, threatened with expulsion from "THE PARTY", and called names if his constituents are not in step with the party room closed door decisions?

ACT Government Ignor Coroner

The ACT Jon Stanhope (pictured) Government has stated categorically that it will not listen to volunteers - including vastly experienced Val Jeffery - with regard to the organisation of the ACT's bushfire and general emergency capability.

Minister Corbell stated that only senior officers and bureaucrats in the ESA and the Department of JACS would contribute advice to discussions about Emergency Management policy.

"In fact the Minister went so far as to say in an answer to a Question Without Notice in the Assembly that "I would not regard Mr Jeffery's advice with regard to the ESA as professional advice"

Coroner Doogan's report on her findings from the Coronial Inquiry into the 2003 ACT/NSW bushfire she stated in her recommendation the following;

    10.2.13 AN IMPLIMENTATION TASKFORCE

    I recommend the following:

70 - that a taskforce be established to give effect to the recommendations in the report

73 - if they are willing and available to participate that the taskforce's membership include Mr Phil Cheney, Mr Tony Bartlett, Mr Val Jeffery and Mr Tony Lowe

Millions of dollars and thousands of hours spent to establish from the Maria Doogan Coronial Inquiry a report on evidence tendered to correct what went wrong limiting the possibilities of reoccurrence.

We must never forget the ACT government, lead by the Mayor of Canberra, Jon Stanhope, heading to the high court in and attempt to stifle Maria Doogan, by presenting allegations of her being bias to the inquiry.

This was thrown out and instructions issued for Coroner Doogan to continue the inquiry. That was not the result the ACT government wanted as their basis for bias was contained within the coronial inquiry evidence tendered reflecting on Stanhope, his government, and their bungling bureaucrats.

Now it would seem that the constantly thinning ranks of the ACT emergency services, such as the recent departure of Chief Officer David Prince's resignation submitted from pure disgust of this Stanhope, no-hope apology for government. with total arrogance in the face of the Doogan findings exposing truths they did not need uncovered.

ACT Liberal, Steve Pratt MLA, Member for Brindabella, Deputy Speaker, Shadow Minister for Urban Services, Police & Emergency Services, Multicultural Affairs stated in a press release;

"Mr Jeffrey has been a bushfire Captain for many years and was the President of the ACT Bushfire Council for 12 years. He continues as a Captain and is the representative of all bushfire brigade Captains. He provided external advice and evidence to both the McLeod and the Doogan enquiries, and indeed, was recommended by Coroner Doogan to be appointed as an expert adviser as part of a taskforce to oversee the implementation of the reports recommendations.

"This is typical Labor Party politicking - when the experienced, respected and esteemed rightly talk out after months of quiet frustration and criticise the Government's ESA restructure, Labor slaps them down, as he has today with Mr Jeffrey.

"Val Jeffrey, other RFS officers and Captains, those on the land and esteemed scientists of the calibre of Phil Cheney, know more about the bushfire conditions and the bushfire threats confronting the ACT, than all of the bureaucrats and senior officers in the Department of JACS and ESA combined.

"This was starkly demonstrated during the January 2003 bushfire disaster where experts and experienced fighters were ignored by bumbling bureaucrats.

The ACT Labor Government is repeating black history. They are too meekly bending to their bureaucrats who in turn are hell bent on building bureaucracies. We need the ESA to be a statutory authority and our emergency services to be unencumbered by stultifying bureaucracy - as Val Jeffrey wisely said today - "its not just a matter of the number of bureaucrats, it's the politics and attitudes that come with bureaucracy"

The Stanhope Government has returned the ESA to year zero - the same bureaucratic organisation as that which failed in January 2003. The government though, to cover its stupidity, is shooting the messengers of wisdom." Mr Pratt said.

The NSW government bus load of lawyers sent to the ACT Coronial Inquiry who successfully distanced NSW form the ACT fire of 2003, even after evidence established the inferno/holocaust started in NSW, plus other damning evidence in that inquiry implicating the RFS and NSW Government. These legal eagles were ably accompanied by Commissioner/Labor Party Candidate Phil Koperberg, of the NSW Rural Fire Service, who reacted to every string pull made by his controllers as he crept back across the boarder right behind the legal team. We now see the ACT disregarding well-founded recommendations, evidence of incompetence and conducting every trick in the book to avert accountability in lieu of arrogance and backside preservation.

The distance from the next bushfire disaster is counted in minutes for the same reason the 2003 fires obtained inferno status. Government is hell bent on utilising radical green driven false science they use as a tool to obtain political supporting legislations for votes, while we the people, who DARE utter concern, are brushed aside.

The Snowy Mountain habitats so preserved for creatures under Radical Green DSE legislation, built into such fuel loads, as they have again today, that these blackberry bush, tree limbs, underscores, and weed so treasured by the city greens of nil skill and controlled knowledge did annihilate our national heritage of wildlife, plants, birds and trees in total.

Today you can walk the Snowy and not see any wild life AT ALL just what seems a stage set for a movie of world destruction.

A green vote will allow this kind of management to remain as they control the major party politicians.

Bushfire Recipe Book

Bushfire services have thrown out their old cookbooks.
Here is their new recipe for…Burnt Bush Crisps.

Do not settle for the dull, inexpensive bushfire mitigation stuff, because if you get a really good blockbuster fire, it will really juice up your budget.

The NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) also stands for Raging Fire Service. You do not want ordinary fires, but real raging ones.

Do not do cool burns to reduce the undergrowth.

You have to have lots of good fuel for a good fire, so stock up.

This will make fires burn really hot.

No matter how much they complain about losing their homes and farms, do not allow volunteers to put out small fires.

Allow national parks to block fire trails with boulders and logs so fire trucks cannot get to fires for one to two days.

Wait until the hottest time of the year before allowing a fire to grow.

Once the fire is beginning to spread because the weather is becoming extreme, light lots of back burns and drop lots of incendiary devices.

It takes a real man to put out a crown-fire.

Do not mention that a real man cannot put out a crown-fire….
Or only rain or a good patch of hazard reduction can.

Blame the arsonist, how about the drought - there has to be someone to blame.

Get more publicity than Jamie Oliver.

Make passionate speeches about bravery and honour.

Remember, it is hard to get volunteers who know their place in the RFS Empire.

Smile soothingly if they rebel about risking their lives and losing family farms.

Arrange more meetings, far, far away.

Chiefs 'did nothing about' Canberra fire

11th March 2007, 20:47 West Australian

Senior NSW fire officers decided to do nothing about a blaze which escalated and joined the firestorm that ripped through Canberra in 2003 claiming four lives and 500 homes, a former fire-fighter claims.

Peter Cathles, a former senior group captain of the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) says a meeting of fire chiefs in Queanbeyan on or around January 9, 2003, discussed the small fire ignited by lightning strike in the Brindabella National Park in NSW, about 25km from Canberra.

"One of the paid staff of the RFS said: `Oh, it's only shit country, it's burning pretty slow, why not let it burn' and they all seized on that as a brilliant idea and that was the end of the meeting," Mr Cathles tells ABC TV's Four Corners in a program to be aired on Monday.

"They actually decided by consensus to do nothing and I sort of lived with this a year or two and I ultimately wrote to the coroner, Maria Doogan, and told her this."

In a report of her investigation released in December last year, Ms Doogan laid responsibility for the Canberra firestorm squarely at the feet of the ACT government's Emergency Services Bureau (ESB) and in particular senior officials within the bureau.

She said "a failure on the part of the Emergency Services Bureau to aggressively attack ... the fires" was one of 15 contributing factors to the firestorm.

Phil Koperberg, who recently stood down as RFS commissioner in order to contest the March 24 state election, told Four Corners it was regrettable the Brindabella fire was allowed to get out of control, but denied his former staff were complacent.

"There may have been a range of individuals with separate opinions and there may well have been a nodding of heads ... but the team itself, the people who were ultimately responsible for making the decisions, never, never could be accused of any level of complacency in this and haven't been," Mr Koperberg said.

Mr Cathles says paid RFS staff told volunteers and locals not to fight the fire at McIntyre's Hut, while landowner Wayne West also tells the program he repeatedly had his calls for help rejected over a period of days.

"I think we could have controlled the McIntyre's Hut fire those first few days if we'd have had the OK to go ahead," Mr Cathles said.

Mr West is now suing the state of NSW and Mr Koperberg for the loss of his property.

"The only way we believe that the truth will be told is through legal action," Mr West told the program.

By January 17, as four major fires were threatening Canberra, the RFS attacked the McIntyre's Hut fire by launching a back burn from the air.

The back burn escaped and added to the final run of fires, which engulfed Canberra on January 18, 10 days after Mr West first contacted the RFS about the McIntyre's Hut fire.

One of the volunteer fire-fighters involved in the back burn, Hugh Patterson, tells of his guilt.

"I felt like, well, I lit the fire that burnt down Canberra," he told Four Corners.

"I was there with hundreds of other fire-fighters lighting back burns and you know, somewhere or other those fires grew to become the fires that swept into Canberra.

"It's not a rational analysis of the history of the fire. But it is traumatic for me and it still weighs on my mind, as I guess a personal failure."

The Four Corners report also examines the threat posed by climate change which, by sucking moisture out of the ground, is helping to fuel "mega-fires", which are so big and wild they are impossible to control.

Labor Turns Green In NSW Election

The apparent alignment of the NSW state Greens are moving their preference surplus votes to the Iemma cabal of Labor clearly indicating that the Bob Carr agenda is alive and very well, with a coalition of the two parties.

Iemma has already come out and advised the citizens of his desire and intention to manufacture MORE National Parks across this state of NSW should he be returned to POWER. Power being the operative word here, for he has not, nor intends to govern this state for and on behalf of the people's wishes, but rather, to satisfy his collusion with the Green movement and theirs combined corporate masters, such as the Macquarie Bank.

It is not only impossible to believe that the people of NSW would consider allowing such fiscal and personal ineptitude to persist after these elections, by giving this Labor/Green coalition to grow further as an uncontrollable virus which it is establishing.

It is inconceivable that this state of NSW's rural sector can survive such an onslaught.

The Green movement whilst advocating conservation and nature's balance are well prepared to prostitute their values in order to gain votes and thereby sit side by side with Iemma & Co deliberating destruction not only our State, Crown and Private lands by mismanagement, but content to see people and communities lives destroyed by such childish, yet dangerous, political shenanigans.

No matter what area of this state that you all live in, the fiasco from12 years of Labor absolute failures with their Green allies helping, have touched and intend to touch everyone of you.

Worse the future for our children and children's children, is one that if these political cretins are allowed to continue to spiral into chaos, we the voters will be held accountable.

In the city you are being subject to $$$ billions wasted, contracts entered into that assign our tax dollars into oblivion for decades to come with zero positives what so ever.

In the vast rural area, the farmers and their communities are battling everything from land rights, to draconian vegetation and stock manipulative legislation, no medical resources and the lists goes on.

For all NSW, a coalition of the Greens and Labor is a bridge too far and a vote for either of these agenda driven dangerous entities is a vote for a servitude which this State of NSW will live to regret, both in Metropolitan and Rural combined.

Vote for who ever you like, but leave these fifth column bastards on the political dump as the incredible, non state patriotic hacks, they really are.
