There is a load of material ready to publish on the Independent push, plus capitulation of some party members who can see the writing on the wall of people flood polling booths.

GREENS IN-BREEDING KOALA'S
Federal Government ignorance of science is moving koalas back to the endangered list according to the ABC's 7.30 Report last week.
Reporter Greg Hoy interviewed members of the Green lobby including a Koala Foundation spokesperson.
News of the story spread through my network of outraged bushfire fighters and bushfire scientists.
We were troubled by the story's own lack of science.
I rang Mr Hoy to ask why crown-fires did not get a mention as the main problem.
"Everyone agrees that the major cause of koalas' decline is the loss of habitat," he told me. "The loss is because the Federal Government's position on koalas is not based on sufficient science.
"The solution lies in increasing koala habitats and connecting them with green corridors.
"These corridors are needed because breeding programs linked with the Koala Foundation have produced a large number of deformed koalas. The corridors will allow koalas to travel to other colonies to solve the problems with inbreeding and deformity."
I told Mr Hoy of my PhD findings…
Very hot fires where the treetops burn were moving koalas from a plague to the endangered list.
Being several times hotter than domestic ovens, these crown-fires' high temperatures cremate wildlife.
Koalas managing to escape then faced starvation as crown-fires destroy their food source… treetops.
Bushfire service empire building and Labor preference deals with the Greens were behind the crown-fires.
When I pointed them out, these ironies and contradictions did not worry him… To him, there was no problem that national parks and Green-linked networks are environmental in name only.
Mr Hoy promised to pass my information along to give a more balanced and accurate coverage.
I sent him two stories that ran in SOS-NEWS outlining my findings in more detail.
I have still not heard from the ABC.
This raises questions about bias and a lack of research in this taxpayer funded media outlet.
On top of its ignorance of bushfire science, the ABC failed to comment on three other examples of scientific ignorance:
- The lack of science that produced deformed animals.
- The difficulties for deformed koala's to travel along green corridors to breed with other deformed koalas.
- Deformed animals should not be encouraged to breed in the first place.
In the bush, no science is needed to know these three points. They are common knowledge.
It is a sorry indictment of our ABC that it exposes city viewers to such Green/Labor propaganda just before an election.
Ignorant of bushfire science and animal husbandry, how will the bulk of the electorate be able to see the naïveté?

KOOBOR THE DROUGHT-MAKER

"THE DREAMTIME"
The Aborigines believe that if the body of a dead koala is not treated properly, it's spirit will cause the rivers to dry up and everyone will die of thirst.
A myth from south-eastern Australia tells how this belief originated.
An orphaned Koala-boy, Koobor, was constantly ill-treated and neglected by his relatives.
Although he had learnt to live on the foliage of the gum-trees, he he was never given sufficient water to quench his thirst.
One morning, when relatives set out to gather food, they forgot to hide their water-bucket, so that for once in his life Koobor had enough to drink.
But, realising that unless he stored some water for himself he would soon be thirsty again, the boy, collecting all the buckets, hung them on a low sapling.
Then, climbing into the branches, he chanted a specials song that caused the tree to grow so rapidly that it was soon the tallest in the forest.
When the people returned in the evening, tired and thirsty, they were indignant to see the water-buckets hanging at the top of a very high tree, with Koobor sitting in the midst of them.
The men demanded that Koobor should return the stolen water, but the replied that, as he now had the water, it was their turn to go thirsty. After a number of attempts
had been made to climb the tree, two clever medicine-men succeeded and, harshly beating him, threw the little thief to the ground.
As the people watched, they saw the shattered body of Koobor change into a Koala, climb into a near-by tree, and sit in the top branches, where today he does not need water to keep him alive.
Koobor then made a law that though the Aborigines may kill him for food, they must not remove his skin or break his bones until he is cooked.
Should anyone disobey, the spirit of the dead Koala will cause such a severe drought that everyone except the Koala will die of thirst.

NSW Government Not Funding Rescue Volunteers
NSW Marine Rescue Volunteers are "Poor Cousins" in Emergency Services funding
The Volunteer Marine Rescue Organisations of NSW save the state government tens of millions every year but receive recurrent government funding that represents an average of $764 per volunteer for training, operations and capital equipment.
By comparison, the SES receives over $2,700 per volunteer.
The Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol, and its colleagues in the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard and NSW Volunteer Rescue Association, are facing the most difficult financial challenge in our respective histories. We are all perilously under-funded by the state government and we are unanimous in the opinion that if the level of funding does not increase substantially we will all have to seriously consider limiting our emergency services to life-threatening incidents only.
This is not a situation that any of us would willingly consider if it was not for the fact that volunteer marine rescue services have now reached the point that while our organisations are saving the government tens of millions of dollars a year, we are all struggling to meet our commitments.

Where are all your ministers, that is the ones that haven't been obliged to walk for various reasons, or is that nefarious reasons?
Your ability to spin gibberish in a vain attempt to allay the fears of desperate folk across this State is obviously tapping the full resources of all the spin masters our tax dollars can afford you.
This election on the March the 24th will be about you and Bob Carr's abysmal record over 12 years, not on the lies and spin spewing forth. Lies and spin that not only cannot be funded from an empty NSW bank account, but lies and spin that only come forth each election time to be forgotten immediately thereafter, as you retreat to your corporate master's lairs to receive a pat on the back for being a good Judas to the people.
Quite frankly Maurice old chap, if it wasn't for the likes of Ray Hadley and Alan Jones, your team of miscreants wouldn't even have to put down their cocktails and rise from their deck chairs to even answer the telephone and even then your sad team only solves one lonely desperate citizen's plight and leaves all others in the wilderness.
Debus has spent hundreds of millions of dollars from the chair of one ministry alone and there has not been one positive result, other than he is retiring, but not before he attempts to fill the abyss with none other than volunteer and tax payer funded empire builder Phillip Koperberg.
Sorry Maurice, but with Independents Day looming, you are about to see the Empire strike back.
