As we see corporate transgressions against the laws of nations starting to unfold both here and across the world, the question has to be asked, "why is it that an
individual, once convicted of a crime, is rightly and justly denied any and all direct and indirect opportunities to financially benefit from said crime and yet the
corporate pariahs who so transgress, are given license to just buy their way clear by paying fines from the funds source accumulated from the very crimes they perpetrated and were convicted of?"
Further, should such financially gain have already come an individual transgressors way, such funds so amassed are confiscated as rewards of crime
and yet the corporate equivalent in law for the big boys does not seem to exist.
The New World order of global corporate governance is a frightening future indeed, that is unless your snout is so deep in the trough, the corporate
regulators are just too frightened to dig where they should.
For example, to read the BP get out of jail free card story scroll down to "Fellow Mushrooms"and whilst reading it, consider the parallels to this story and the Visy/Amcor millions of dollar price fixing litigation here for starters with government legislation supporting Visyboard timber and pulp mill operations in NSW.
Weather prediction is something that everybody would love to be able to do accurately, but humans are not yet wearing God's shoes, even though many at the top of the pile like to believe they are.
If the information we have at our disposal is correct, there should be a welcome relief of rain across many parts of Australia over the next 10 days, with some of this rain well into the centre of the Nation.
We are not a weather source, but just hope that these predicted rains do actually come and provide some respite for the rural folk that need every possible straw available to hold onto and give them hope.

BP to Pay $373 Million in Federal Probe
By Lara Jakes Jordan - The Associated Press - Thursday 25 October 2007
Washington - Global energy giant BP PLC agreed Thursday to pay $373 million to settle criminal and civil charges that it overcharged U.S. propane consumers by millions of dollars and ignored environmental warnings that resulted in an Alaska oil spill and a deadly explosion in Texas.
Additionally, a federal grand jury in Chicago indicted four former BP traders who were caught on tape discussing an alleged scheme to pump up profits by cornering the propane markets.
The federal investigation of Europe's second-largest energy company, and its executives, will continue during a three-year probation period, Acting Attorney General Peter Keisler said Thursday.
"Obviously, the actions that we're responding to today reflect that there were some very serious problems within the company," Keisler said, announcing the cases in Washington.
BP America Chairman and President Bob Malone apologized in a statement.
"These agreements are an admission that, in these instances, our operations failed to meet our own standards and the requirements of the law. For that, we apologize," Malone said.
The charges against London-based BP and its U.S.-based subsidiaries come in at least three separate cases that federal investigators have been pursuing for several years. They include:
A February 2004 scheme by BP America Inc. to inflate the price of propane by buying massive quantities of the gas, to be delivered over a Texas pipeline, and then withholding supplies. That forced other buyers in the wholesale market to pay an unnaturally high premium, costing consumers an estimated $53 million and driving spot prices as high as 94 cents a gallon in places like New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois.
Ironically, BP did not profit because the financial benefits of the scheme were outweighed by the unexpectedly huge costs associated with carrying it out. But under an agreement with the Justice Department to avoid criminal prosecution, BP will pay a $100 million penalty on top of fines amounting to $25 million to the U.S. Postal Service; $125 million to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and $53 million in restitution.
Additionally, the Justice Department charged four former traders accused of carrying out the scheme with 20 counts of mail and wire fraud and commodities violations. At least some of the four traders - Mark David Radley, James Warren Summers, Cody Dean Claborn and Carrie Kienenberger - allegedly were caught on tape gleefully discussing how BP could "control the market at will."
Describing the tape, Commodity Futures Trading Commission acting chairman Walt Lukken described "outrage that these people were taking advantage of innocent consumers."
A March 23, 2005, explosion at a BP refinery in Texas City, Texas, that killed 15 contract employees and injured more than 170. Granta Nakayama, assistant administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency, said BP failed to install environmental and safety standards as required by the Clean Air Act to prevent chemical vapors from being accidentally released.
BP will pay $50 million as part of a felony guilty plea in Texas - what officials called the largest criminal fine ever given in a Clean Air Act case.
BP's March 2006 spill of 201,000 gallons of crude oil at Alaska's Prudhoe Bay, the nation's largest oil field. BP America will pay $20 million and plead guilty to a misdemeanor violation of the Clean Water Act for the largest crude spill on Alaska's oil-rich North Slope.
Under the agreement, BP will pay a $12 million fine and $4 million in restitution to the state of Alaska. Another $4 million goes to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation for Arctic environmental research.
Nakayama said the spill "should not have happened" because BP ignored what he called many warnings about the risks to the ecosystem.
"BP committed serious environmental crimes in our two largest states," Nakayama said. "Every entity that is subject to environmental laws has an obligation to comply. But global companies like BP, with their experience, technical capabilities and financial resources have no excuse for committing environmental crimes."
These corporate criminals are buying there way out of blatant collusion and violation of trust in the form of "White Collar Crime" and the fines mention in this article will be paid
from the accumulated funds racked by the said crime.
Governments are now corporations, which we see here in Australia, Pratt's Visyboard in NSW, and the greens vendetta against Gunns Timber at any cost including blatant lies and terrorist tactics on public and government funding.
The new world order is well on target.

Green's Cheque Book Politics
Professor Rosenfeld, an internationally acclaimed scientist in his field and Aaron Gingis, an Australian leader in cloud seeding and particulate pollution matters, have been lobbying the Australian government for years to come to terms with rainfall decrease across areas of Australia due to industrial particulate pollution effects.
Particulate pollution has scientifically been proven to cause inhibited rainfall over vast areas downwind of such pollution and NASA has applauded Professor Rosendale for his work.
The Snowy mountains and western Victoria and NSW, are areas that have been dramatically affected by decreased rainfall and there is much evidence to suggest that particulate pollution from southern industry is playing a large part in this climatic change, yet no one seems to want to go down this path, especially not the Greens.
The ramifications of accepting the facts and dealing with the truth are too much to handle for the political minions of the major parties, but the Greens, who project themselves as the saviours of the Nation's environment, are most conspicuous by their silence on the scientific realities of this perpetrator of drought.
Not a bloody word about particulate pollution for the iconic Snowy Mountains and the subsequent environmental and commercial rural suffering that is indirectly resultant from the lack of big snow and rainfalls in the H2o lungs of the eastern States. An issue that we all would expect to hear screamed from every Green soapbox across the country.
Yet when there is a stance to take against the Tasmanian Timber Company, Gunns, the Greens have no problem in using a truth they hide in the closet from, to satisfy their insatiable desire to attack this Australian Company.
We kid you not, the Greens, Federal & State under the Bob Brown leadership have not only declared their hand of environmental duplicity, but will for a dollar, swap their environmental stance for the opening of a cheque book, even if that cheque book contradicts all they convey to the public as a reason to consider themselves worthy of your vote. The Gunns, Greens & Cousins expose' makes classic reading as one such example that SOS-NEWS has investigated, with others to follow.
The Greens hate the Gunns Corporation with such vehemence that they are prepared to throw caution to the wind and overtly admit that particulate pollution is not only real, but it has the clear propensity to seriously affect climate in other countries, oceans away.
What is more telling, is that the Greens are more concerned with the New Zealand Ski season than the very issues here in this country where misguided citizens elect them to represent by sound governance and policies.
Read an excerpt from a report on the espousals of two Tasmanian feral Greens, that at the time were elected politicians in the Tasmanian political arena. If this doesn't cause the reader to shudder at the thought of inadvertently having cast a vote for the Greens under the belief they stood for sound government and good environmental policies, then such people should have their right to vote removed.
And now for the diplomatic incident we are going to have with New Zealand. According to the Greens' submission, pollutant emissions from the pulp mill could extend to New Zealand, 1600 kilometres away, and cause a reduction in the New Zealand ski season by five days.
There will also be damage to New Zealand's agricultural sector because pollutants from the pulp mill will suppress rainfall, the Greens claim. This, their submission argues, "could result in international legal action against Australia", or Gunns.
ALP set to sell out rural Australia to the Greens
In a desperate bid to shore up marginal seats in inner city Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, the ALP back room power brokers have done an under the table deal with the extremist greens to exchange preference in the Senate for marginal seats.
This sell out will see the possibility of the greens being elected in every state based on ALP surplus preferences and holding the balance of power in the Senate after June next year.
By holding the whip hand in the Upper House, the greens will force their loopy policies onto the Government of the day be it Rudd or Howard. They have sworn to close down the forest industry and to stop the export of coal. They have demanded the removal of irrigation rights to 'save' the environment, virtually spelling a death sentence on the Murray Darling farmers.
Rudd and his national executive appear to have yielded to demands of union official heavy weights from the extreme green left of the Labor movement. Union thugs from the ETU have already been removed as political candidates, but in a move to 'pay back' leader Kevin Rudd and the elected politicians, this union is funding the Greens election campaign and is believed to be threatening to withdraw all funds from the ALP.
The former radical BLF members that now form a minority in the building wing of the CFMEU are also promoting the Greens' industrial relation policies in preference to those developed by Deputy ALP leader Julia Gillard.
The action by these faceless Union officials is despite the fact many of the unions own members will lose their jobs as a result of the loopy green policies.
Kevin Rudd needs to stand up for Australians throughout Australia and place the greens last on the ALP preference Ticket. The ALP has the opportunity to win this election by itself. It does not need to kow tow to the likes of Bob Brown, Geoffrey Cousins and host of extreme eco-political 'king makers'!
Greens' Pulp Fiction
Tasmanian Mercury Newspaper - October 08, 2006
A PULP mill in Tasmania will bring HIV, melt the ski-fields in New Zealand, cause international diplomatic incidents and, to cap it all off, create a crisis in the Australian economy.
Pegg Putt (left) and Christine Milne (right)
That's according to the submission to the Resource Development and Planning Commission made by two Green MPs, Peg Putt and Christine Milne. It's ironic that the Greens are lambasting, sometimes with justification, the spin and hype of the proponents of the proposed Gunns pulp mill. Because by making outlandish claims, as they do in their submission, they undermine the credibility of their position.
The Greens' submission is voluminous. There is much in there that will be useful to the RPDC as it assesses the strength of the argument for a pulp mill. And it includes some sensible recommendations.
But unfortunately the intellectual integrity of the submission as a whole is undermined by some spurious assertions.
Gunns itself says in the ISS that the potential exists for both positive and negative contributions to the economy. It says, for example, that brothels would be attracted to the area and that there could be conflict over relationships with the opposite sex.
One might add here as an aside that brothels and sex workers have been around since Adam and if a few ply their trade in Tasmania, then so what?
But the Greens go further. They claim that because there will be men working on the mill's construction who are without partners, prostitution and fights over women will be the order of the day. Those workers will maraud around the community, seeking "entertainment opportunities, including female companionship in the local community. This may result in conflict with local men," the submission opines.
There is no empirical evidence to support that claim -- which, one might add, is insulting and patronising to construction workers and tradespeople.
And sex workers from Melbourne will be flown in to help alleviate the sex drive of workers. There may even be child prostitution if the pulp mill is built, claim the Greens.
Once again, these bald assertions are made without being backed up by a scintilla of evidence. And once again, they slur workers.
And of course, there will be unhealthy foreign workers coming into the state to work on the pulp mill. According to the Greens, HIV and diseases like TB will increase in Tasmania "if large numbers of international workers are required".
This outrageous claim is simply a variation on the old xenophobic Australian view that foreign workers are somehow unclean and undesirable.
And in another demonstration of just how mean-spirited the Greens really are on migration issues, they claim in their submission that workers from overseas will be used on the project and those workers will send money back home to their families.
If it wasn't for workers around the globe sending money back to their families, world poverty would be a hell of a lot worse than it already is. Remittances from foreign workers are a bigger source of poverty alleviation than official aid.
I went looking for the legal opinion that backs up this assertion but couldn't find one. It is a ridiculous statement because it would mean countries all around the globe would be suing one another. China, which spews out billions of tonnes of pollutants each year, would be taken to court by Japan, Russia, Mongolia and India. I am not aware of any litigation along those lines.
Then, the icing on the cake. There is a risk, according to the Greens' submission, that interest rates will increase, inflation will rise and Australia will default on its foreign debt if the pulp mill is built. That one project can create this sort of ripple effect on the Australian economy is simply fanciful.
If it were right, then other large-scale undertakings, such as massive energy and mining projects mooted for Darwin and northern Western Australia, would also have the capacity to create an economic crisis. They don't for one simple reason: the Australian economy is large enough to absorb multi-billion-dollar investments.
If one is going to be taken seriously in the debate over a pulp mill, then hyperboles, insulting claims and grossly misleading statements are not the way to go. The Greens have missed an opportunity here to be seen as sensible and moderate.
Pauline Rattles Their Cages
Tony Abbott, the self appointed political knight that took it upon himself to destroy the Hanson movement in your name, with your tax dollars, may well may be at it again with his Liberal/Labor coalition of slush fund mates who meld together at the slightest hint of political danger.
To think this woman can generate such fear within the two major parties, YET again by standing for the senate at the Federal Election, boggles the mind.
Gutless is too good for these low life's who published pure lies in a Queensland distributed pamphlet to discredit Pauline.
A pamphlet is being distributed using my name claiming I want all Asians to be deported. This is totally untrue, I totally deny it as a policy and I have never advocated such a policy. It's the start of dirty politics against me for my Senate candidature! So what's new?
Pauline, you have the bastard's attention with the prospects of you rattling their cages from the senate .. GO FOR IT!
Hey Al Gore, We Want a Refund!
Friday, October 19, 2007 - By Steven Milloy
A British judge ruled on the eve of Al Gore co-winning the Nobel Peace Prize that students forced to watch "An Inconvenient Truth" must be warned of the film's factual errors. But would there be any science at all left in Gore's "truth" if these errors and their progeny were excised?
Minutes of non-science filler dominate the opening sequence - images of the Gore farm, Earth from space, Gore giving his slideshow and the 2000 election controversy. Gore then links Hurricane Katrina with global warming. But the judge ruled that was erroneous, so the Katrina scenes would wind up on the cutting-room floor.
Another 12 minutes of filler go by - images of Gore in his limo, more Earth photos, a Mark Twain quote, and Gore memories - until about the 16:30 minute mark, when, according to the judge, Al Gore erroneously links receding glaciers - specifically Mt. Kilimanjaro - with global warming.
The Mt. Kilimanjaro error commences an almost 10-minute stretch of problematic footage, the bulk of which contains Gore's presentation of the crucial issue in the global warming controversy - whether increasing levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide drive global temperatures higher. As the judge ruled that the Antarctic ice core data presented in the film "do not establish what Mr. Gore asserts," this inconvenient untruth also needs to go.
After still more filler footage about Winston Churchill, the 2000 election, and rising insurance claims from natural disasters, Gore spends about 35 seconds on how the drying of Lake Chad is due to global warming. The judge ruled that this claim wasn't supported by the scientific evidence.
More filler leads to a 30-second clip about how global warming is causing polar bears to drown because they have to swim greater distances to find sea ice on which to rest. The judge ruled however, that the polar bears in question had actually drowned because of a particularly violent storm.
On the heels of that error, Gore launches into a 3-minute "explanation" of how global warming will shut down the Gulf Stream and send Europe into an ice age. The judge ruled that this was an impossibility.
Two minutes of ominous footage - casting Presidents Reagan and George H.W. Bush, and Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) in a creepy light and expressing Gore's frustration with getting his alarmist message out - precede a more-than-9-minute stretch that would need to be cut.
In this lengthy footage, Gore again tries to link global warming with discrete events including coral reef bleaching, the melting of Greenland, catastrophic sea level rise, Antarctic melting and more. But like Hurricane Katrina, these events also shouldn't be linked with global warming.
Based on the judge's ruling, the footage that ought to be excised adds up to about 25 minutes or so out of the 98-minute film. What's left is largely Gore personal drama and cinematic fluff that has nothing to do with the science of climate change.
It should also be pointed out that Gore makes other notable factual misstatements in the film that don't help his or his film's credibility.
He says in the film that polio has been "cured," implying that we can cure "global warming." While a preventative polio vaccine does exist, there is no "cure" for polio.
Gore attempts to smear his critics by likening them to the tobacco industry. In spotlighting a magazine advertisement proclaiming that "more doctors smoke Camel than any other brand," he states that the ad was published after the Surgeon General's 1964 report on smoking and lung cancer. But the ad is actually from 1947 - 17 years before the report.
Gore also says in the film that 2005 is the hottest year on record. But NASA data actually show that 1934 was the hottest year on record in the U.S. - 2005 is not even in the top 10.
Perhaps worse than the film's errors is their origin. The BBC reported that Gore knew the film presented incorrect information but took no corrective steps because he didn't want to spotlight any uncertainties in the scientific data that may fuel opponents of global warming alarmism.
"An Inconvenient Truth" grossed about $50 million at the box office and millions more in DVD and book sales. Gore charges as much as $175,000 for an in-person presentation of his slide show that forms the basis for the film.
Considering that a key 25 percent of "An Inconvenient Truth" is not true - and perhaps intentionally so - it seems only fair that Gore offer a refund to moviegoers, DVD/book purchasers and speaking sponsors. Where are the class action lawyers when you need them?
The Leopard Spots Remain
1918
In 1918, the Governor General was Ronald Crauford Munro-Ferguson, 1st Viscount Novar, GCMG, KBE, PC (6 March 1860 - 30 March 1934), sixth Governor-General of Australia, was probably the most politically influential holder of this post
He was before Royal Commission outcome and findings were determined, prior to the inquiries commenced, and had the guts to throw out a government minister on evidence from a royal commission report that the prime minister was not inclined to sanction until pushed by the Queens representative to the people of Australia. We did see the Whitlam government thrown out of office by GG Kerr that researched evidence available was suggested by the American CIA.
The 1918 the seventh Prime Minister was William Morris 'Billy' Hughes CH KC (25 September 1862 - 28 October 1952), Australian politician, was the longest-serving member of the Australian Parliament, and one of the most colourful figures in Australian political history.
Over the course of his 51 year federal parliamentary career (and an additional 7 prior to that in a colonial parliament), Hughes changed parties five times: from Labor to National Labor to Nationalist to Australian to United Australia to Liberal, was expelled from three, and represented four different electorates in two states.
So who is Jens August Jensen (May 2, 1865 - November 16, 1936)? He was an Australian politician, represented the Division of Bass in the House of Representatives from 1910 to 1919.
He was first elected as a member of the Australian Labor Party, and served as an Assistant Minister and then Minister for the Navy in the Fisher and Hughes governments.
When a group of more conservative ALP members under Billy Hughes broke away in 1917 over conscription issues to form the Nationalist Party of Australia, Jensen joined them. Hughes retained government after the split, and Jensen was appointed to the new ministry as Minister for the Navy and then later Minister for Trade and Customs.
In 1918, the Royal Commission on Navy and Defence Administration investigated Jensen, when the Commission found against him, he was forced to resign from the ministry. He subsequently lost his endorsement to contest his seat at the 1919 election. Though he attempted to contest the seat as an independent, he was defeated by the endorsed Nationalist candidate, David Jackson.
Jensen subsequently shifted to state politics, elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly seat of Bass in 1922. After losing his seat in 1925, he rejoined the ALP in 1927, and was elected to the state division Wilmot, holding it until 1934.
Now 2007, we see that the leopard does not change spots, but the GG remains on the Prime Ministers string, hence
we suffer dictatorship set in place over decades of party faithful support with rampant lies and suspect negotiations
allowed to flourish.
We may ask what is the Queens representative is going to do about the Australian Westminster system of government that is so eroded even the white wash is discoloured.
More Bureaucratic Abuse of Farmers
Farmers from across Australia have in good faith spent much valuable time on public submissions along with waiting for independent tax payer funded research to prove they are not liars in claiming that dog and fox control, including baiting via aerial delivery over the last 40-50 years has been beneficial for the native species of vegetation and wildlife generally and particularly. for the Quoll species.
And unequivocally, yes, farmers observations, experience, performance and outcomes have all been arrogantly ignored by the radical gang-green sect ensconced in government departments running their own agendas. For them it is all about maintaining publicly funded employment and doing as little as possible. All the time, manufacturing and driving media beat ups on environmental salvation, delivery of endangered species and climate change, whilst scare mongering over timber, food and water shortages. Purely just more politically sanctioned research into the chaos theory!
Farmers have eagerly and constructively assisted the Federal Australian Pesticides & Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) in their public consultation process in respect to the review of 1080 poison use and effectiveness in wild dog control. 1080 is a sophisticated non-residual poison working humanely like an over dose of anaesthetics. Bait dose, placement and timing, allows good dog and fox population suppression. Healthy Quoll populations scientifically have been shown to reject 1080 baits in baited areas.
Independent quality science has and is being conveniently and intentionally ignored by the gang-green sect because it does not support their agendas of indolence and cover up. At all costs they fight, fend off and deflect the truth, whilst feeding the Ministers more of the, "YES Minister diatribe."
Farmers have said they require up to 40 baits to the kilometre for aerial baiting to remain effective in areas of high populations of wild dogs, foxes and pigs, the real ferals competing for baits, and wildlife. The APVMA has until recently, been willingly prepared to recommend the status quo on bait distribution, that is, until some heavy weight gang-green from the Federal Department of Environment and Water decided they now want a 75% reduction in bait distribution rate with no scientific evidence to support their reasoning! Quite simply, the precautionary principle being miss-used to offset scientific analysis and results, that disproves their mad claims
Buy a 4 wheel drive vehicle, pull 3 wheels off it and defy 2000 years of circle development. Drive this one wheel vehicle and you end up on the footpath, median strip, or crash into a tree. Why doesn't this modified machine deliver the service it once did with 4 wheels? You now have an idea of what farmers are being told to live with or die by!
Yes how do you feel about the credibility of the public consultation process, independent public research process? When the gang-green sect ensconced within bureaucratic circles can come in at the eleventh hour and forge deals that set farmers up for continued abuse, ripped to pieces by packs of mongrel dogs fed and bred on our wildlife supposedly confiscated for conservation. Farming families and their domestic animals are continuously traumatised and sent to the wall by disease ridden savage mongrels, called the public service gang green.
Criminally unacceptable abuse of public office!

Executing Our Brumbies
On Monday 24th September 2007, members of Parks Victoria will set about removing 150 brumbies from the Barmah Forest which covers an area of 75,000 acres which is 1 Brumby to 500 acres. It is claimed this small number of horses are causing severe damage over this huge area.
Though Al Gore (pictured)aggressively promotes global warming alarmism, he unfortunately seems to lack confidence in his
ability to debating climate change against others.
But Al Gore's curious reluctance will hardly stop the public from being
able to see how his points stack up against that of climate experts
We host classic audio segments from around the world.

We will be hosting major stories from the weekly publications, from our archives and investigation reports along with audio and video material.
Since we started the website it has grown to an extent that we find it difficult to locate material as it was never expected to be so large at anytime.
This is because of the success we are enjoying by supplying the people with information they have been restricted from by controlled media dancing,
to the government and corporate bosses tunes.
