Never ever feel alone in the world of cyber space. For every personal email you send, many other interested parties are reading it as well.
Security agencies, and governments, cannot let the people communicate unchecked as their power base would be threatened - and we cannot have that CAN WE !
It does make ponder that the British company Skype, a free internet communication and phone service was recently purchased by USA based E-bay. Was this a true commercial venture, or does it have undercurrents.
Those using the service, and at any one time there are from 4.5 million, to 10 million people connected to the service, boasts 256 bit encryption at all times, which would not be in the interest of our international "big brother" organisations.
So you may form your own opinion as to why Skype was very recently not working for over a week, never before off line, due to software modifications. Maybe the backdoor did not fit?
But the best line of obtaining information is from those you trust with confidential emails. Leaks always appear, as information to us from this source flows on a regular basis, like the recent stream of data being emailed around from a disgruntled/defrocked politician who is pushing a barrow for the Federal Nationals, and Liberals against an independent. This we are sitting on until the time is right for exposure of this two faced party faithful.

The first Push for the Bush AGM and Conference is to be held on the weekend of the Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd September 2007. Any member of our network is welcome but only paid up organisations, members or sponsors will be able to vote and stand for office.

Angry crowd traps Brumby Melbourne Sunday Herald August 31, 2007
PREMIER John Brumby has been freed after being barricaded in a machinery yard in rural Victoria by farmers angry at the Government's water plans.
Mr Brumby, Rural and Regional Development Minister Jacinta Allan and a handful of advisers and media representatives were trapped inside the yard for 75 minutes by about 70 irrigators.
The angry locals were protesting about the Government's move to pipe water from the Goulburn Murray region to regional cities and Melbourne.
The blockade happened just outside Colbinabbin, east of Bendigo, where Mr Brumby had gone for a media conference to turn the tap on a $98 million new water pipeline.
Police negotiated with the protesters, who had formed a ring of tractors around the yard. The blockade started just after 1.30pm.
The protesters, some carrying placards reading "irrigation feeds the nation", screamed and interjected as the premier tried to reason with them over the merits of the plan.
Water today begun flowing from the pipeline, which will pump water south from the Goulburn system to the Bendigo region.
Twenty billion litres of water will flow to the region annually via a 46.5km pipeline.
Mr Brumby said the superpipe would provide water security for the region at a time of unprecedented climate change.
"The Goldfields Superpipe is vital to the future growth of the Bendigo region," Mr Brumby said.
"The superpipe will provide water to Bendigo to successfully manage supplies through the challenges of drought, climate change and population growth."
"THE FRESH FOOD PEOPLE"
Got a real passion for asparagus. Best I've tasted was from a road-side stall, way up in the highlands of the Indonesian island of Java. 'Spears' cut fresh from the field where the stall was located, cooked in a large pot of spicy salt water and eaten as a long soft delicacy; fresh, beautiful.
Joanie does a good preparation of plain boiled 'spears' dressed with a Garlic & Onion white sauce, which is very tasty.
Recently while travelling North, we purchased some asparagus from a well known supermarket where the signs all boasted they were the 'Fresh Food People'; even the big delivery trucks have the slogan blazed all over their sides.
In small print on the wrapping tape around the asparagus bundle: 'Product of Peru'.
Now, I have no problem with Peruvian products, but 'fresh'?
I've seen the harvesting in Peru. It takes about a week to get the product to the central market, at least three more weeks to transport by ship to Australia and another week, at least, for distribution to shops.
What processes were the 'fresh' asparagus tips passed through?
Dipped in toxic chemical baths, drenched in fungicides and 'bug' killers, stored in toxic gas ovens, irradiated with gamma rays from Cobalt-60, chilled; you bet, as are many of the foods we now import into this country.
I asked our favourite asparagus farmer and stall-holder at the Noosa Farmer's Markets how business was going since our now famous 'Free Trade Agreements' and 'General Agreements on Tariffs & Trade' etc were installed by our uncaring governments. His answer was hardly surprising : "Buggered mate, can't make ends meet any more, may have to shut shop!"
So, we loose yet another valued local supplier of 'fresh clean product', due to the actions of continuing Labor and Liberal/National party politicians signing away our heritage and security.
I sincerely hope all Australian voters will take a 'fresh' look at who they vote for this coming election.

Thank you for taking the time to write to SOS-NEWS about management of the Australian High Country. I will answer your questions as honestly as I am able. I am not a qualified scientist as you are and certainly was pretty young - unborn to about 6 months old - at the time my father, Alec Costin was posted to Cooma to open the office of the NSW Soil Conservation Service.
I have read the book 'Losing Ground' by John Merritt, which documents the historical events leading to the removal of grazing from the Australian High Country and I do note that Dr Merritt is amongst the many - including former grazing families - who agree, that grazing the true alpine area is untenable and unsustainable. I must also say that I have spent a lot of time thinking about the grazing issues, however, can only draw on the science for my understanding thus far.
This by definition cannot be the final conclusion whilst grazing, burning and vegetation transects and trials are still underway. I am certainly not the only voice in the community and strongly believe in communication, consultation, expert evidence and advice and representation of all the diverse voices amongst them, indigenous land custodians, contemporary landowners, alpine and sub-alpine users, artists and writers, conservationists, recreation and tourism stakeholders, councils who must secure municipal water supplies including most recently, Canberra and Queanbeyan now expanding and planning to draw off the upper Murrumbidgee River and thus Tantangara and potentially Eucumbene Dams, as well our pioneering families who settled the Monaro and Snowy Mountains.

Pathetic Parks Bad Publicity Hurts
Last Sundays Herald, page 18, was an article about the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service complaining that the NSW Rural Fire Service get plenty of positive media coverage, whereas they don't, or they only get negative coverage.
Unlike the RFS, who are volunteers - the NP&WS fire fighters are fully paid wage earners of that organisation, receiving overtime when bushfires go past 4pm knockoff time - have either no concern, or most likely no comprehension as to bushfire devastation or the consequences of not containing a bushfire.
For example, in the Goonoo Conservation Area the NP&WS tried to stop the RFS from bulldozing a firebreak to halt a fire front because it was supposedly destroying endangered vegetation.
Another, the Broken Cart Track fire, in 2003, NP&WS inhibited the fire management processes, due to "Corroboree Frog habitats", hence this containable fire broke through heading into Canberra, and we all know what happened there, with 4 people killed, and suburbs turned to ashes.
John Dengate, well known Radical Greenie" and public affairs director of NP&WS has sent out an order than "at least once during any major fire they (NPWS staff) are to send him a photo of them in uniform studying a map on a car bonnet or checking a piece of equipment"
Shallow would be and understatement of this first class fools statement.
It does however reflect on his fearless leader, Dr Tony Fleming, radical green CEO of the NP&WS, who is caretaker environment minister only while Phil Koperberg is in office, implements his agenda on the people of NSW.

Minister takes on National Parks Spin Doctor
It appears that Fireball Phil Koperberg, NSW Minister for Environment, and his BOSS the good Doctor Tony Fleming, CEO of National Parks, finally have a fight on there hands,
This despicable duo want road access to the NSW South Coast, Meroo, and Termeil lakes closed (lock out's) to we the people.
But at long last Minister Ian McDonald
(pictured), Department of Primary Industry, has said ENOUGH and want's the public to forward their submissions of objection to this planned public lockout.
The Dr Fleming/Koperberg submission states that the green tree frog, and the inavise calerpa texafolia (a noxious weed) are a danger to both lakes.
What they don't realise is that the real people have looked at this issue and the salt content in both lakes is too low for the weed to grow, and frogs cannot live in salt water.
This does pose a question as to why Fleming makes such a misleading analysis of frogs and weed that cannot survive in the subject lakes.
GREEN AGENDA is that the reason or is this person just incapable of being the CEO of and environmental department.

THE ENDANGERED SPECIES BUSINESS
Private land managers across Australia are viewing the endangered species business with increased scepticism. A good excuse to deliver predictions of species extinction to the paying public, while those calling themselves environmentalists and CON-servationists, steal public and private land under the guise of environmental good of course. Yes ever since many of us have been in kindergarten we have been groomed to accept the dooms day prediction of species extinction.
The farmer, forester and fisherman has been painted the bad guy ogre. While these rural communities set about their daily routine of producing food, caring for the land, forests and water ways, in the dungeons of bureaucracy they are churning out mystical legislation in an attempt to replicate that which the land managers are doing and have been for decades, saving native species on public and private land and public water ways.
Along comes a back-packer calling him, or herself an environmental Salvationist, making unsubstantiated, mythological public claims about exploitation by farmers, foresters or fishermen. The Great Swindle starts. Once in the government ear, the endangered species business becomes not only lucrative with grants, research, captive breeding programs, more land and water grabs being the order of the day, becomes a religion.
With time, private land managers are persuaded to conform to the stupidity of lock it up and feed it to the sharks and wild dogs keep the people out so they are unaware of the facts. Media is spun on the rose coloured world, pretending biodiversity thrives from the chaos theory. No one would dare listen to the pleas of the farmers, foresters, fishermen painted as exploitationists, the true saviours and committed knowledgeable protectors of our native and domestic species. Scientists are commissioned to monitor, map, plan, and document the progress of the chaos theory with a modern end result of "climate change". All the while the reality is, that species are being lost through neglect, incompetence and abandonment.
Be aware of the endangered species business this Federal Election. Generational farmers, foresters, fishermen are about the only ones that know how to, or genuinely care about, looking after our environment, including having native species in abundance so they are not endangered. The genuine farmers, foresters and fishermen are the real endangered species businesses biggest enemy, hence the reason why main stream media constantly trots out bad spin against rural Australia. Farmers, foresters and fishermen have stood in the way of unbridled exploitive colonization of this nation. The endangered species business is one of this nation's biggest swindles and growth industries. Starving, butchering and burning our native species while closing our family farms, forests, fisheries, which have before "radical salvation," harboured, protected and nurtured those species, is akin to environmental genocide.
Our small and medium marsupials are disappearing off our rangelands, with most of our rangelands being north of the dog fence from SA, W NSW, SW Qld. Farmers are being denied access to traps, professional dog-men, funding and poisons to deal with wild dogs by those calling themselves environmentalists and conservationist representatives of the endangered species business, frustrating every move for sound ecological control.
South of the dog fence, farmers and foresters have, over the last 150 years, built up native species in abundance, free of wild dogs and harsh fires, in vegetation carefully grazed, logged, cool burnt, and committed weed and pest control. Abundant native species have been confiscated on well-managed land and within 3-4 decades of deprivation and neglect, destroyed. Environmentalists are actively harbouring packs of wild dogs in public lands so as to generate an endangered species list, either wittingly, or unwittingly. Regardless the catastrophic environmental result is the same, the demise of species, both flora and fauna.
