WATER,WATER,WATER!

Whilst our bureaucrats dictate the water regulations being brought down upon us through the mouths of inexperienced politicians in such matters, our country folk suffer dramatically. Our cities grow into unwieldy metropolises of unparalleled proportions with our country folk being branded irresponsible managers and the cause of the water problems in the high-density population areas.

This is far from the truth and both our politicians and our bureaucrats know this, but in their desire to see water as the stock market of the future, first they need to get control of this nation's supplies. Supplies we might add that are more than adequate for this nation's populations.

The millions that are spent on quasi science and consultants by the governments of this nation are nothing but squandered tax dollars that you and I earn the hard way. Something that the bureaucrats have never experienced.

If a city on the east coast of Australia is suffering water shortages, then the question has to be asked, "What are we paying our bureaucrats for?" The eastern seaboard of Australia gets more rain than it can use by millions upon millions of gigalitres and yet we the people are being asked to suffer dictatorial, draconian legislation nationwide in respect to water usage. Our farmers and irrigators [protected by the Australian Constitution, although the governments don't care about that] are being sent to the wall by legislation that is nothing other than a legal framework to take control of the immense wealth in water that exists in Australia today.

What is it that makes water so scarce in our eastern state's cities and towns? The answer is agenda driven politics and big business that has the goal of making you and I and every other person in the world pay for the rain that God delivers to us.

In the city of Sydney alone, there is so much water falling from the sky that there is no need to even have a reticulated supply, but of course no one is advocating such a return. There is an answer to the problem though and it is answer that the bureaucrats will fight tooth and nail to see never comes about, because the answer will deny the corporate masters of water their intended goals. These goals being that you I and every other Australian not only is obliged to pay for every litre of water consumed, but that each of us accept that it is due to our own ineptitude that we are obliged to suffer their control and management to get us out of the artificial quandary they have led us to believe exists. In so doing, and mark my words they are succeeding beyond their wildest dreams, their bank balances will grow to way beyond oil corporation's profits exponentially.

Our Government has to be ordered by the people for the people to act now in the interests of AUSTALIA, first and foremost, and this can be done by the following method with ease and a little time.

Water tanks can be manufactured on government contract, by totally Australian owned companies and distributed to all households in every water short town and city on the eastern seaboard. They will be installed either by plumbers and their apprentices, or competent DIY citizens. The size of the tanks would be proportional to the premises they would be installed at, with a large range of sizes and configurations along with the appropriate pumping systems as required to deliver such water supplies to the particular residence, or business as the case may be.

The benefits of such a system are as follows:

  • Water that consistently falls on the entire eastern seaboard, but is not utilised would be collected efficiently.
  • Pressure now upon our dams and reservoirs would be alleviated at an increasing rate as the program rolled out.
  • Gardens, vehicles, concrete washing, lawns toilets and washing machines would all have their water supply assured except in the most extreme weather cases where our revitalised reservoirs would have no problem with absorbing the interim increased demand.
  • Industry would flourish and remain viable for many years as the program rolled out and hence benefit the communities such industry was established in. This must be 100% Australian driven.
  • Plumbers would flourish small business receive a boost of unparalleled proportions across this nation. This does not require major corporation monopoly to achieve, and in fact it must be assured to the contrary. This is about Australians and the Australian way.
  • Modern design methods of tanks today have negated the mosquito problems of yesteryear along with the associated disease spread and with simple education and possible random inspection etc this should not be an issue or concern.
  • The flourishing flora within residential communities from the ability to water such flora consistently makes for a seriously effective carbon soak within the very areas that emits this countries highest output of carbon. Contrary to what the public have been led to believe, constantly growing lush grass is as effective a carbon soak, and in some cases superior to that of mature bush and forests, but the acceptance of this irrefutable FACT doesn't suit certain agendas that do not have Australia's best interest at heart.
  • Cities become water efficient without so much as a change to our major infrastructure other than to allow such infrastructure to return to having full water supplies and our farmers and irrigators and environmental concerns are all serviced as they not only should be, but can be.

    What are the down sides?

    Virtually none.

There is one, and that is that the water barons will no longer be able to hold the population of this nation to ransom over that which is our god given right to use and hence their bank balance profits will dwindle. When these barons hold the power to our water usage they also hold the power to our food producing ability and when they hold this power they own you and your country and from that day forward this country and the population will be servants of our servants.

    How is this paid for?

Easily, especially as this is not a lump sum expense, but rather a roll out situation. When the tank is ordered, delivered and installed, the particular resident, or business has their rates adjusted to essentially amortise the cost across a term (say 10-20 years, depending on individual circumstances) and thereby the actual cost of such installation is borne by the ratepayer.

Sydney would have no need for an inefficient desalination plant, nor would most other eastern seaboard communities. The cost per household would not have to exceed $2000 and in many circumstances would be considerably less. Rate Payers would have the option of paying for the tank and installation up front at heavily discounted rates and those wishing to, or by circumstances, would just pay by the marginal increase in their annual rates invoice. This places the onus of water security directly upon the city folk. Users that in present day terms are asking their country cousins to go out of business so they can fill their swimming pools, wash their cars, hose their lawns or pathways. Every body will have water, along with clean cars and green lawns and full reservoirs. Of course the water Barons will have sagging profits, but that is their concern and the governments, as they should never have privatised in any way such an essential service of this nations.

Now you say this sounds simple and plausible, or in political spin, populist, but will it actually deliver results as espoused.

SOS has a test case in the heart of Sydney that has been in progress for some 18months. (Remember the drought we were all suffering from a few weeks ago) This is a 2,700 litre water tank collecting rain water off only a quarter of the roof's capacity to deliver. This water has been used to freely wash 4 vehicles at whim and hose the lawns and garden and concrete. In fact this test case actually continues to hose this water freely in an extravagant manner until the pump runs out of fuel as the natural water supply to this tank exceeds way and above the domestic usage requirements, albeit electric pumps would be far superior and environmentally friendly. This test site only ever gets to half capacity of the tank before it's full again and consistently is pouring the overflow back to the storm water system when it rains. This particular tank cost less than $700 retail and $300 to install by the owner. The pump cost $180.00. The rebate was never sought from the Governments present program, as when the sums were done it was way below being cost effective due to the requirement to have a licensed plumber do the installation and incur the inherent expense of so doing. Most residences could certainly have such a sized tank as mentioned above and many could have one twice the size, with most industrial sites having huge collection and storage capacity. They can be aesthetically pleasing to the eye, coming in a multitude of colours and with a little thought in actual fact make a great place to grow plants etc around.

Goulburn is a perfect example of where such a water tank system is almost essential and would prove beyond doubt the effectiveness of such a program. Instead they let the rain that does come, fall on the ground and flow down the gutter, knowing full well that a tank full for every roof has just been lost whilst they wait for their little dam to fill whilst they pay their council a wage. Why?

The only resistance to this being accepted as sound water management processes will be the agenda of those that stand to loose out financially with no thought for the Australian public's best interests in both the short and long term because the same people who control your reticulated water supply are trading in carbon credits and the two go hand in hand, with neither being anything other than a charade such as the fractional banking system. Just a means for power and wealth, at us the little people's expense, lives and livelihoods.

    It can be done,

    It should be done,

And the Green Necks if they were really honest should be screaming the loudest on this issue. I wonder why they are not? Who's pulling their chain?

Our building codes require us all to have guttering and down piping so that we can fill the ocean. We rest our case.

    What Do You Think?
